Polymer Clay

This weekend I decided to play with Polymer Clay and see if I could make it work! By that I mean, have the ideas in my head actually work out. I have tried before but what I was trying to create looked much better in my head than what I created. Bummed me out. After seeing what can be created, I decided to give it another try. So ~ I created these beads.....

And these beads........

And, much to my surprise, I created these!

IT WORKED! I am so happy! The shorter of the two is a choker and the longer is approx. 55 inches long and can be wrapped 2 to 3 times. I think that it is my new favorite. I wanted to name it, and decided on "Confetti in Seattle". But then I thought that that name might not be nice to Seattle, so I decided on "Confetti in the Rain". I am working on making one with bright colors! Perhaps, "Confetti in the Sun"? Who knows.

My LBS has all of their polymer clay on sale for 50% off! Expect some fun! :)

And then there is Bromley who just wants to play in the snow.

Snow!

Well, it snowed all day yesterday and it was absolutely amazing and beautiful. I didn't get a picture of the snow, but I got this wonderful picture of the tree outside my front yard at 7:00 am this morning.

Autumn

Ok, I know that this is old (fall '09) but it is such a wonderful picture. I love fall, the colors are so amazing.
Hello and Welcome!

Well, after wading in the shallow end, I have decided to jump off the diving board into the deep end!

I am creating this spot, along with my Artfire site, http://www.artfire.com/users/BeadsbyBreul to share my jewelry with you all. I created some great pieces recently and hope to get them photographed and up here soon. This space is so exciting, looking forward to writing more.
