Focus on Life - Week 9 {Knock, Knock}

Can you believe that it has been 9 weeks already?
I can't, but I can say this,
I am loving these weeks.
I look forward to seeing what Sally sends
as our prompts! I can't wait for them.

This week's prompt was to open
some doors and
see what waits for us on the other side.

Did you go through a door that was a secret passage?
(you were adventurous)

Or a door that led into a cute house?
(yes I know the tree is in focus and the door is not, this
is what happens when you are driving, shhhh)

Or did you open the door to a house filled
with joy, family and a few dogs?
(yes, that is me)

I did not go through any of these doors,
for you see this week,
this arrived.

This envelope allowed me to open these doors!

(the front of the Washington National Cathedral)

Not physically, but metaphorically.

My doors were huge, inspiring, and awesome.
I love what is on the other side!
LOVE!

This spurred me into action!

(please click and let me know, honestly, what you think.
it is absolutely a work in progress!)

That little piece of paper, my business license,
unblocked my brain. I didn't realize
how frozen I had been.
Things are moving, flowing and I am creating.
Getting legal documents and forms in order.
I even ordered my business cards!

I am now convinced that Sally must have a crystal ball!

Her weekly prompts have been
so timely and insightful for me!

Please hop on over to Sally's blog and see what doors
everyone else opened and went through.

I can't wait for next week! I hope your adventure
is a wonderful one.

Congratulations!! I love all your photographs,..and the fact that the tree is in focus and the door is not is what is so special about that particular photograph - IMHO anyway!! Love that one!

Congratulations, Courtney! A small step for womankind....:-)

PS Take your son to the Museum of Natural History to start...it's fascinating, and he'll LOVE it! My fave, and yours, will probably be American History. I can't wait to get back after the African American History one is completed...I so want to see that!

Lots of mystery behind those doors. I especially like the one that has your reflection in it! ;) Congrats on "officially" starting your photography business.

One sounds like it's opening for you!
