Echo Creative Club

Another month gone by ~
so fast.

Just like I did last month, I asked Jeannie to surprise me
with her choice of beads.
(best part of the deal, makes me work
outside of the box.)

She sent me some of her peeled paint beads in
white.
Stunning.
I am not going to lie, I was at a loss for what to create.
I wanted to make a bracelet, but no matter
how hard I tried, nothing seemed to work.

I was continually drawn to some of the vintage crosses that
my sister in law gave me to create with, the simple gold one
in particular.

As you know, I love, love wire wrapping
and thus this was born.

Her beads lent themselves to this piece
so gracefully.

I know that it sparkles, and for some, that might
be too much.

It hangs so wonderfully!

Thank you so much Jeannie, for this opportunity to
play in the big leagues.

Please swing by her blog and see her wonderfulness. And
when you are done, please visit all wonderful blogs
below to see what everyone else has created.

That is so lovely! I like the way the peeled paint gives it sort of a worn through the ages look. Very nice! Enjoy the day.

Such a beautiful design Courtney. The substantial cross balances the beads you chose and received perfectly, and your wire work is lovely.

"big leagues." too funny. Hope to make it there one day myself. Ok, the necklace. I have to say the cross struck a cord with me (in a good way) it was so unexpected. This is beautiful Courtney! and we both love wire wrapping beads! What's not to about that? Thank you for creating such beauty.

This looks like it was made to be pulled together like this. Excellent job! I don't think the sparkles are too much, I think it makes the necklace a little extra special and can now be worn dressed down or up. Super!
