Woot! Canon all the way. When I was looking I spent time with my professional photog friends and they all said the same thing. I love the way I can get action shots. I wish that it was even a bit faster. I wish my macro was a bit tighter, but overall the pics I take are very true to life (when I hit "I'm feeling lucky" on Picasa it rarely corrects anything). I plan to get a macro lens or filter to test it out. My biggest complaint is that it is cumbersome to delete pictures. You can delete one at a time with three button strokes or all of them at once. Sometimes I like to save something on there to look at again and again! Yea for you! Enjoy the day! Erin
I have a cheap model from a discounter and I'm still amazed how good the pics are. What I hate about it is the dial wheel on top where you can choose between auto, filming, portrait etc. When I put it in the pocket it sometimes changes position and then I take a film instead of taking a photo. *lol*
