Katie and her love of Star Wars
I came across this story today. Many of you may have seen/heard it already. This struck a cord with me having just been through a year's worth of bullying/harassment with my son. The support and inspiration brings tears to my eyes! Such a great story. Katie, you rock!

What is it, that makes people fear the one who is different? Because it is fear that makes them bullying. I like being different and I like people who are different. They are the salt in the soup! YAY for Star Wars!
People can really suck. I LOVED Star Wars growing up - I am hoping this was brought up at school and the kids spoken to - so much seems to slip thru the cracks. One of my boys loves pink and purplehe is in fourth grade and so far we haven't had an issue - I keep my fingers crossed.
